Ella's Story
Hi to everone at FSCBS, thank you all so much for sponsoring and supporting me for the wonderful, life changing trip to Malawi this summer.
I had such an amazing time meeting all the people in the communities and helping them with local projects. Whilst I was in Malawi I visited 3 different camps; camp Kumbali, camp Kuti and camp cape McClear. I built a classroom at Kumbali Kindergarden, made bio fuel and stacked elephant grass for the people in Kuti and also helped paint and redecorate a library for the children at the school in cape McClear.
To finish our trip we spent the last week of our adventure going on a boat and land safari where we saw Elephants, Hippos and Lions, we also then did our last challenge which was to climb mount Mulanje. In total the climb took 3 days but was all worth it when we reached the summit!
This amazing trip of a life time would not of been possible without your help and I am so grateful! I hope to do another trip like this in the future after I leave school as well to continue helping and improving the lives of others who are not as fortunate as me. The memories and experience from this trip will stay with me forever and I will never forget what a wonderful time I had.
Ella Stanton xx
